A cold Tuesday night under the lights

The Tulips went to the BeeHive on a cold Tuesday evening looking for a first league point under new manager Jimmy Dean.

After Saturday's home defeat there were 4 changes, new signing Connor Tomlinson coming straight in for his debut. Harborough a big side throughout are very direct, set plays were always going to be a problem. Tony Breeden twice coming to the rescue in the opening period with point blank saves, us Tulips can count ourselves unlucky not to be in front before the break.

Lewis Hilliard, our best player on the night, forced a terrific finger tip save from the home keeper. As we see last Saturday scoring first was always going to be the turning point, unfortunately Walker's poor header fell to Josh Walsh who's shot easily beat Breeden. Two ex Tulips on show for Harborough, Riley O'Sullivan who was kept very quiet, was outshone by Ben Starkie who's assist for the second scored by Tendai Daire.
