Having only picked up 1 point from the last two home games nothing less than a win was required as we headed down the A14 on Saturday. Lewis White was recalled to the starting 11 as Skipper Liam Moore took on the right back role, Sudbury who had lost 7 in a row certainly didn't lay down a first half which was far from inspiring, miss placed passing and our forward line kept the linesman busy. The only goal of the game came just before the break which was of Suds own making full marks however to Roberts who was alive and scored easily. We did improve after the break but that second goal just didn't happen. McGammon scraped the outside of the post and Sani Sane beat the keeper but defender Lawson somehow kept it out, the pitch didn't really help despite it being 3G and the game being on but was well worn and the bounce seemed uneven. Not the best watch this season but 3 very much needed points .........
