The virus that had affected team selection was certainly put in the shade looking at the 7-0 scoreline on Saturday. Redditch with only one home league defeat so far this season looked a tough task before kick off, but us Tulips are not top of the scoring charts for no reason, Lewis White headed in on 19 minutes and when Jack Roberts buried the second on 33 minutes it started to look like a good afternoon in the West Midlands. Young James Dadge who has come in for a lot of Criticism including from myself stepped in for the injured Dan Wilks, two saves from him before half time kept the lead and will do wonders for the lads confidence.
The second half turned into a goal fest for the travelling supporters, Josh McGammon back in the starting 11 fired home the 3rd, calamity defending allowed Jack to hammer home the 4th on 71 minutes, the flying winger won a penalty 2 min later Big Bart easily beat Warmington from the spot. We was not finished there Jack again took advantage of sloppy defending finding Sani Sane to bag number 6, as the home fans streamed out of the ground there was still time for a 7th goal this time Dion Sembie-Ferris cut in from the left his shot cannoned in of a defender into the net, at full time Players, Supporters, Manager and coaching staff all celebrated together on what turned out to be an amazing day.........
