Mistakes cost the Tulips

It was never going to be easy against a physical hard working Harborough team in a game we really needed to win. The home supporters had little to cheer as we struggled to make any impression on the well drilled visitors back four ,man mountain Alex Morris and Liam Dolman rarely gave our forwards a look in.

Still in the contest at half time, it all started going against us 10 minutes after the re-start as in recent games some of our defending has gifted goals, first Lawlor then Cartwright failed to deal with a weak cross Ben Stephens buried the chance, the same player would have scored again minutes later but for a terrific one handed save by Chapman, the big keeper our best player on the day, denied O'Sullivan and also see one come back off his bar before Tulips old boy Ben Starkie grabbed the second on 75 mins.

Jimmy introduced Jack Roberts, who many thought should have been on from the start, he found Sano-Sani inside the six yard box but somehow he failed to tap home an immediate response by firing wide.

Jimmy's interview at full time told its own story to be a winner at this level his Tulip team needs to be so much better........
