The Suffolk coast in the sunshine was Saturday's destination with nothing less than 3 points required in the still hopeful play off push. Joseph took a knock in the warm up so Connor Brown came in at full back and Glenn Walker in the 10 role. On a hard, bumpy playing surface we played some good football and never really gave Lowestoft a look in. Jack Roberts very quickly becoming a fans favourite scored a cracker after 19 minutes, even he was out shone 5 minutes before the break when the ball coming back off the bar and cleared off the line made it's way as far as Dan Lawlor who then buried his shot from all of 35 yards out!
It was very much us on top and that continued after the break, Sam Cartwright made it two in 2 games for him adding a third, Kieran Freeman with a sublime free kick made it four before Dan Lawlor slotted home a penalty in added on time to make it a five star performance.
It was also good to see the home fans clapping our boys at full time and comments being made that we were one of the best teams to visit this season. As our supporters celebrated with the lads, its was high fives all round, plenty of smiles on faces now only 2 points off that play off place, next weekend at Telford much of the same please..........
