In all fairness to Royston Town with the recent bout of wet weather they have managed to get games on, the surface was not great but we needed to get 3 points as we travelled to Hertfordshire, after a first half to forget we coped much better second half going down the slope with the breeze behind us, Royston rock bottom of the table had given a good account of themselves but when Yusifu Ceesay drilled the ball home on the hour us Tulip fans breathed a bit easier. Crows skipper, Adam Murray, who got booked first half then up ended Bendle 2 mins later and rightly see red. Jimmy replaced the ineffective Roberts with Fowkes and Tom Pugh for the injured Thompson. It was Pugh who made the points safe with a great strike from the edge of the box, going 6 clear with Harborough only drawing? Those hopes were dashed as fellow supporters checking phones shouted out the Bees had scored late again. Saleem Akanbi replaced Bart up front and opened his account on 90 mins, Ben Fowkes should have done the same soon after but fluffed his lines from six yards out. Another good following by the Tulips supporters and the title challenge continues.......
