The Tulips put The Bards to Bed

To be or not to be, that was the question second place Stratford was asking, a win would have put them top, however us Tulips now on a 10 match unbeaten run were not having any of it.

The first 45 minutes was probably the best we have seen all season and our visitors were on the receiving end of it. Joseph, who has now added goals to his game, cut inside and flashed one past the far post before repeating the act on 22 minutes smashing his shot passed the keeper. Dion Sembie Ferris and Clifton both forced saves from keeper Weaver before Darnell Johnson found himself in the box and doubled the lead with a quality finish.

The new Tulips lager was going down as well with the fans, as the football on the pitch and the points were in the bag on 55 minutes a lovely lay back by Bart found Mani San-Sani who's shot went in via the underside of the bar. Both teams had efforts bounce of the cross bar and a first clean sheet for Chapman was kept intact when the big stopper turned a late effort round the post.

Four wins on the bounce, second in the form guide and now only 3 points of the play offs the next game can't come quick enough.......
